I'm Behind

Recover by getting one working version submitted.

Being behind is stressful, but the path forward is usually smaller than it feels. Focus on the current project first, then improve once a working version exists.

If You Are Behind

  1. Focus on current project requirements first.
  2. Complete the lessons directly tied to that project.
  3. Skip optional content until caught up.
  4. Get a working version submitted.
  5. Improve afterward.

Use the Three-Level Path

Must Do

Finish the smallest version that meets the current project requirements and opens at the live URL.

Should Do

Use studio-support lessons to fix broken links, layout overflow, missing states, accessibility issues, and deployment problems.

Could Do

Add stretch features only after the required project works, loads, and can be submitted.

Minimum Viable Paths

Keep Moving

Submit a working version, then improve it.

A simple working project is better than an ambitious broken project. Once the page loads, the links work, and the live URL updates, you can make it stronger.
